Flores has been an RBI machine for the Mets this season.
He doesn’t have the highest average, he’s hitting just .252 this season, but he has been a consistent contributor to the team. His 38 RBIs leads a Mets team that has only 284 total RBIs, which is 27th in all of baseball.
Within the last week or so, Flores has been the hottest hitter on the Mets’ squad. He’s hitting .444 (12-27) with 5 RBIs and a run scored in his last seven games.
We’ll see if he can keep those numbers up.
He was a pretty quiet during the Giants series earlier this week. He picked up two hits in 11 tries with a walk and a stolen base.
