Lamb was finally able to lift his batting average above .300 this week during the series with Texas.

Coming into Tuesday’s game, Lamb was hitting .287. But after a 3-for-4 day at the plate Tuesday night, it rose to .304. He went 1-for-4 with a run on Wednesday and enters Friday with a .302 average.

He has been the hottest hitter at the plate over the last week. He’s 10-for-24 over the last seven games with four RBIs, four runs scored and a stolen base.

The D-back’s third baseman has two homers and 17 RBIs on the season and is a career .262 hitter in his last two seasons in the big leagues with Arizona.
