This will be a different year for the Arizona Cardinals defense after losing defensive coordinator Todd Bowles to the New York Jets. Under a new coordinator, the Cardinals defense looks to continue to be one of the best defenses in the league.

The defensive line also took a hit in the offseason, when they lost Darnell Dockett, Dan Williams, and Tommy Kelly, but with the acquisition of new talent the Cardinals look to be in a great position. According to head coach Bruce Arians the defensive line has a very deep rotation, which will be good with the amount of injuries that occurred last season.

The coaching staff is looking at keeping eight or nine defensive lineman, with ten defensive linemen on the roster. The defense currently have seven players who have a secured roster spot, which leaves three player to battle it out of the final one or two spots.
