After only playing one game in 2013, with one tackle, Alex Okafor played 13 games in 2014 and impressed his coaches and teammates. In those 13 games Okafor had 30 combined tackles, eight sacks and one interception, and in the Cardinals postseason game against the Carolina Panthers he had five combined tackles.
The outside linebacker out of Texas had a run in with the law in early March, but has seemed to turn his focus to the field as he and his teammates head to training camp. He will look to be better than last season, and overcome the early offseason troubles.
As Okafor heads into his 3rd season, he has a secure hold on the left outside linebacker position.
