He was the Atlanta Falcons 1st round pick in 2010, but after missing the whole 2014 season, Sean Weatherspoon will be a starter with the Cardinals if he can stay healthy. As we head into training camp Weatherspoon is listed as questionable, but told a local radio that he cannot doubt himself and must just perform his job.
Weatherspoon in a natural-born leader, but has suffered through injuries that past several seasons. He says he is not going to sit back and watch others take his job. I would be on the look out for him at training camp as he looks to make himself noticed.
In his career with the Falcons, Weatherspoon had 336 tackles, eight sacks, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries. He will be a veteran presence to the Cardinals defense.
