Lorenzo Alexander:

He is a versatile player that made his NFL debut as a tight end. Lorenzo Alexander can play linebacker, defensive line, offensive line, special teams, and tight end. He was a rookie free agent that has been named captain five times, twice with the Cardinals.

Alexander has only made 16 starts in his whole career, but with Matt Shaughnessy moving to the defensive line he maybe called on to replace Shaughnessy. Alexander says he wants to play special teams more than defense, but he will be a back up to Golden if needed.

In 19 games with the Cardinals Alexander has 17 tackles and one sack, but with more playing time will come more opportunities to make a difference. He will have an opportunity to compete for the starting outside line back job if he is able to stay healthy.
