In game two of this series, The D-Backs were dominated once again…this time by Matt Harvey. Harvey gave up two runs, on five hits, and struck out nine in seven innings pitched. The D-Backs had their opportunities against Harvey, as he walked four batters, but they were unable to capitalize.

In his second start of the season, Patrick Corbin struggled a bit. Corbin gave up four runs on only four hits while striking out five. The Mets beat up Corbin with the home run ball, as he gave up three in that game. Lucas Duda hit a solo home run, Ruben Tejada also hit a solo home run, and Matt Harvey was able to connect on a home run as well, a 2-run shot.

The D-Backs scored their only two runs of the game in the first inning on a 2-run home run by David Peralta. But that was it for Arizona as Harvey settled down. The D-Backs lost this one also by the score of 4-2.
