The safety positions were set at the end of the 2014 season, and will most likely not change unless something dramatic happens. The safety depth chart is as follows:

Tyrann Mathieu:

After tearing his ACL in his rookie season and looking a beat behind in 2014, Tyrann Mathieu looks healthy and ready to retake prove people wrong. Mathieu missed the last three games of 2013 and three other games in 2014, but when he was healthy he was all over the field for the Cardinals.

In the 13 games Mathieu played in 2014 he had 37 combined tackles and one interception. Being healthy and having two years under his feet, should allow him to play at a faster and more aggressive pace.

Mathieu can be an animal on the field and has the ability to cover almost any receiver. Though he is a safety, Mathieu has the work ethic to play anywhere on the field.

He will make the roster, and should have an outstanding season. Look for Mathieu to start playing like he played prior to his injury.
