After an exciting Home Run Derby and an All-Star Game that showcased players from both the San Francisco Giants and the Arizona Diamondbacks, the two will square off in a three-game set beginning Friday night at Chase Field.

The Diamondbacks entered the All-Star break in a less-than convincing fashion, losing all three of their games against the Mets (prior to that, however, they had won five of their last six). The Giants entered the break on a high note, sweeping the lowly Phillies in a three-game series that saw the Giants score 27 runs.

Paul Goldschmidt, A.J. Pollock, Madison Bumgarner, Buster Posey, Brandon Crawford, and Joe Panik all made appearances for the National League on Tuesday night, but which players will play a key role in this series featuring the division rivals?

Let’s take a look.
