Corbin is still trying to find his groove since coming off the DL. He’s 1-3 this season with a 3.68 ERA in 22 innings pitched.
He started off on the right foot, winning his first game back on July 4, but since then has dropped three straight.
Not all of that has been his fault though. A lack of run support has hurt Corbin in those three starts. He’s only allowed seven runs in those three losses combined.
But, he has a major challenge ahead of him if he wants to snap that losing streak because King Felix is no easy opponent.
In fact, Hernandez is hands-down one of the best pitchers in the game and has been so for the last few season.
In 2015, he is 12-5 with a 2.69 ERA and 124 strike outs. He picked up a win in his last start against the Blue Jays on the July 24th. In that game, he allowed one run on seven hits, walked one and recorded seven strikeouts in seven innings of work.
This will be an exciting matchup to watch come Wednesday.
