Keuchel is one of the biggest reasons why Houston is in first place in the AL West.
The Astros left-hander has been absolutely phenomenal for his club this season and is tied for second in the majors for wins with 12 on the year. He is joined by Mariners’ pitcher Felix Hernandez and teammate Collin McHugh, who we will talk about in a moment.
Overall, Keuchel is 12-5 this season with a 2.32 ERA in 151 innings of work.
Despite his success, he was not his normal self in his last start against the Kansas City Royals. In fact in that game, Keuchel gave up five runs on 10 hits and eventually was handed the loss after 6 2/3 innings of work.
So, look for him to try to bounce back to his winning ways when he takes the mound on Saturday.
