Diamondbacks return home to take on Reds

Corbin is coming off a horrible outing, if you can call it that, against the Nationals. Corbin only lasted 1 1/3 innings, gave up three runs on six hits. Corbin saw his pitch count reach 54 in only the second inning and couldn’t seem to get anyone out, so he was removed from the game.

DeSclafani was great in his last start against the St. Louis Cardinals. He pitched six innings, only gave up two runs on seven hits, while striking out nine. That kind of start is usually hard to come by against an offense like the one the Cardinals roll out every day. DeSclafani is 7-7 on the year with a 3.71 ERA.
