Harang owns a 4.11 ERA with 77 strike outs in 116 innings pitched so far this season. However, he has not pitched more than five innings in his last two starts since returning from the Disabled List after suffering from left plantar fasciitis.
In those last two starts, Harang allowed a run against the Atlanta Braves on July 30th and four runs against the Los Angeles Dodgers on August 5th.
Against the D-backs, the only player Harang seems to struggle handling is Paul Goldschmidt (of course).
Goldy owns a .400 batting average against Harang over the past five years with two homers and 15 RBIs.
De La Rosa picked up his third win in four starts on August 5th against the Nationals after throwing five innings and giving up just two runs.
De La Rosa has faced the Phillies once before in his career. He picked up the victory after giving up one run in five innings in 2011 when he was a member of the Dodgers.
