Cardinals vs. Chargers: Players to Watch

The Chargers’ rookie running back has had a mediocre training camp and continued that last week in San Diego’s win over the Cowboys. For Melvin Gordon, this is his chance; his chance to show that he can be one of the Charger’s running backs and can help this team.

The Chargers draft pick from Wisconsin had six carries for just 11 yards, which is not like Gordon. According to his teammates he has got comparisons to Jamaal Charles, but the team wants him to be the next LaDainian Tomlinson. He has long strides, but what he brings most to the Chargers is hope.

For Charger’s fans they will want to see more production out of Gordon and see if he can get some more quality carries. He played through the whole first quarter last week, and will probably do the same on Saturday.
