Game 4:

Arizona was hungry for a sweep and motivated to go above .500 for the first time since late April. The series finale was much different from the previous game. Chase Anderson provided a stellar performance going 6 and 2/3 innings allowing five hits and no runs.

The offense gave enough support as well, starting with a Welington Castillo solo home run in the fourth inning. The D-Backs tacked on another run thanks to a few throwing errors on a ball hit by Goldschmidt to first baseman, Joey Votto.

David Peralta launched a two run homer in the eighth to make the score 4-0 and seal the sweep. Matt Reynolds closed out the game for the Diamondbacks securing the victory.

Final score: D-Backs 4, Reds 0
