Offensive Players:

Carson Palmer, QB: 83 OVR, 88 Throw Power, 86 Short Throw Accuracy, 83 Medium Throw Accuracy, 83 Deep Throw Accuracy.

Andre Ellington, RB: 77 OVR, 90 Speed, 93 Agility, 90 Acceleration, 75 Catching.

Larry Fitzgerald, WR: 87 OVR, 82 Speed, 86 Agility, 86 Acceleration, 93 Catching.

Michael Floyd, WR: 86 OVR, 88 Speed, 87 Agility, 89 Acceleration, 90 Catching.

John Brown, WR: 79 OVR, 94 Speed, 97 Agility, 90 Acceleration, 87 Catching.

Takeaways:

As noted above, the knock down on Palmer’s overall is a little drastic. In my opinion, Palmer could easily be an 86 overall due to the fact that without him the Cardinals offense struggled mightily last year. He is the most important piece on this offense due to the drastic drop off to the backups compared to the other offensive skill positions.

If Ellington were ever able to stay healthy he could be an 82-85 overall running back on Madden. The 75 overall catching rating doesn’t make too much sense to me as Ellington is decent at catching the ball once leaving the backfield. His speed, agility, and acceleration rankings are spot on however.

The three wide receivers are pretty accurately ranked. Fitzgerald could definitely be an 84 or 85 overall, just below Floyd, especially due to the fact that Fitzgerald is 6 points lower on speed, 1 less on agility, and 3 less on acceleration than Floyd. Brown has shown that he has the make-up of a terrific number three weapon in the receiving corps this year and his rankings are accurate.
