Vogelsong is 0-3 in his last three starts. On Thursday, he gave up eight runs (seven earned) on 11 hits in just three innings against the Rockies. He was removed from the game in the fourth inning. Reports said Vogelsong lacked command of his fastball and left his breaking ball up in the zone.
Chase Anderson was demoted down to Triple-A for a couple days, but returned to the D-backs staff and has pitched well over his past three starts. In that span, Anderson owns a 2.55 ERA and with a 1-0 record.
