Each week I will be taking an in-depth look at the best and worst matchups for fantasy football players at each position. This first edition will take a closer look at two running backs who have favorable week one matchups and two running backs with less than desirable opponents.

Start ‘Em: Chris Ivory (NYJ) v. Cleveland Browns

Chris Ivory is the 26th running back taken off the board in ESPN standard leagues and 65th overall, but I have Ivory finishing as a top-15 RB in week one with top-10 upside.

Cleveland finished as the No. 23 defense in the NFL last year facing the run and they didn’t upgrade anything to their defensive front to enhance their rush defense. Also, with the Jets likely running away with a victory in this game, Ivory will have plenty of “garbage time” rushing attempts to help chew clock in the second half.
