Last night the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers kicked off the 2015 NFL season and now we are just two days away from a full slate of NFL action.

The defending Super Bowl champion Patriots began the new season with a dominant 28-21 victory over the Steelers in which Tom Brady threw four touchdown passes, three of which landed in Rob Gronkowski’s hands.

The 2014 NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks will begin their season on Sunday against their NFC West rival in St. Louis against the Rams. Seattle came just two yards short of winning their second consecutive Super Bowl last year when Russell Wilson was picked off at the goal line by Malcolm Butler. Seattle went out and acquired former New Orleans Saint Jimmy Graham in the offseason to help bolster their offensive attack.

There are many other teams on the cusp of experiencing greatness in the 2015 season such as the Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Dallas Cowboys, and the Pittsburgh Steelers that can all make a run at the Seahawks and Patriots in their respective conferences.

Entering week one each team has a clean slate, so lets take a look at the Week 1 NFL Power Rankings…
