The veteran quarterback begins his 10th season with the Saints and his 15th overall in the NFL. While the Saints struggled as a team last season, Brees had another solid year leading the offense.
He started in all 16 games for the Saints and racked up 4,952 yards. He threw 33 touchdowns and a relatively high 17 interceptions.
It was just another year for Brees as he did what he does best. He helped the Saints finish with the best offense in 2014. The Saints have reach the top-10 in offense in each of the nine seasons since Brees arrived from the San Diego Chargers.
According to NFL.com, Brees has also led the NFL in passing yards five times and posted nine straight 4,000-yard seasons with the Saints. He has thrown at least 30 touchdowns in seven of those seasons and finished with a passer rating of 100 or better three times during that span.
