Despite not scoring a touchdown last week, Jones was still the Wildcats leading receiver in total yards. He racked up 103 total yards, with his longest catch of night measuring 41 yards.
The 6-foot-3, 215 pound, redshirt junior out of Austin, Texas started in 13 of 14 games last season as a receiver. He was UA’s leading receiver with 1,019 yards which resulted in nine touchdowns. Jones tallied 73 receptions in 2014 and averaged 14 yards per carry and 72.8 yards per game.
His talents were good enough for an All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention.
In week one versus UTSA, Jones picked up a touchdown on 49 total yards.
