For the second week in a row, the Wildcats will face a freshman quarterback.
Josh Rosen, who enrolled at UCLA in January 2015, went to St. John Bosco High School in Manhattan Beach, California and completed 199 of 313 passes for 3,186 yards and 29 touchdowns in 2014. He was a first-team USA Today All-America selection and was rated no. 2 as a five star recruit on the rivals.com.
Rosen had a terrific debut against Virginia in week one, but has since completed 33 of 65 passes for 329 yards with two touchdown and Pac-12-leading four picks in wins over UNLV and BYU.
So how will he stack up against a Pac-12 rival? Only time will tell. One thing is for sure, Rosen has to be happy that Scooby Wright is not 100% right now and will likely miss Saturday’s game
