Kevin Hogan had the best season of his career last year as quarterback for the Cardinal. The senior out of Virginia completed 232-of-352 passes for 2,792 yards and 19 touchdowns with 8 interceptions.
He’s back at it once again this season. Hogan has completed 64 passes in 101 attempts for 938 yards and seven touchdowns.
After not finding the end zone in Week 1 against Northwestern, Hogan has put up multiple touchdowns in each of the following three games.
While his passing game is phenomenal, his rushing game is subpar. He picked up only two rushing yards last week against the Beavers.
Depending on what defensive team decides to show up for the Wildcats, Hogan may have a little more than two yards this weekend.
If Solomon were to be 100-percent for Arizona, this would be one of the best quarterback match ups in college football this weekend.
Instead, two seniors, one with a ton of experience and one with hardly any will square off as things start to get serious in the Pac-12 South.
