The Arizona Cardinals have an advantage when it comes to health in their matchup against the Green Bay Packers with a spot in the NFC Championship game on the line.

The Arizona Cardinals will have a leg up on the Green Bay Packers immediately when the two teams kick-off on Saturday night as the Cardinals are much healthier than the banged up Packers.

The Packers have already announced they will be without WR Davante Adams and TE David Quarless on Saturday. Cornerbacks Sam Shields and Quinten Rollins are both ruled as questionable for the contest as well.

Adams injured himself in the Packers NFC Wild Card matchup against the Washington Redskins last weekend. Aaron Rodgers had thrown a quick slant pass to Adams along the sideline and when Adams dove for the first down line, he was swallowed up from behind. Fellow Packer teammate Richard Rodgers had fallen on top of Adams from behind that resulted in Adams’ knee twisting toward his chest.

Before leaving the game (and not returning to the contest) Adams had caught four passes for 48 yards and a touchdown. At first, the belief was that Adams could have torn his ACL, but after the game the team ran more tests on Adams’ knee and the damage to his MCL was detected and labeled as a sprain.

The Cardinals, on the other hand, only have two players listed as questionable and three players listed as probable. DT Josh Mauro, who is expected to play, is listed as questionable, as of Friday, as well as DT Frostee Rucker. LB Markus Golden, G Mike Iupati, and QB Carson Palmer all have probable tags attached to their names.

The Palmer injury involves a finger on his throwing hand should not be worried about one bit by Cardinals fans. Palmer will most definitely be out there on the gridiron on Saturday in hopes to win his first career playoff game. Palmer is the only quarterback on the remaining eight teams to not have a playoff victory under his belt.
