Following an exciting offseason, the Arizona Diamondbacks are finally set to hit the diamond on Opening Day for the 2016 MLB season.

It’s almost go-time for the 2016 MLB season with Opening Day on Monday, April 4. The Arizona Diamondbacks will begin their season with a seven-game home stand featuring a three-game set against their National League West rival in the Colorado Rockies and then a four-game series against the World Series favorite in the Chicago Cubs.

The Diamondbacks did their fair share of enhancing their roster in the offseason, featured by the franchise-record deal reached with former Cy Young award winner Zack Greinke. Greinke will take the ball on Opening Day for Chip Hale‘s club and will be followed in the rotation by newcomer Shelby Miller. Miller was acquired in a deal that sent Ender Inciarte and No. 1 overall pick Dansby Swanson to the Atlanta Braves.
