Left Field: Yasmany Tomas

Tomas made 118 appearances in his first MLB season with the Diamondbacks last season. After a rough start, Tomas settled into the swing of things and eventually finished with a .273/.305/.401 clip with nine home runs and 48 RBI. Injuries to Tomas last season opened the door to Lamb getting time at third base, but with Inciarte on the Braves now Tomas will take over the left field position for Arizona.

Center Field: A.J. Pollock

In one of the nicest surprises of the 2015 season, Pollock hit 20 home runs and knocked in 79 RBI, while stealing 39 bases in 46 steal attempts. He also hit .315 with a .367 OBP and a .498 SLG. He was a member of the National League All-Star team and also won a Gold Glove award. Additionally, Pollock finished 14th in MVP voting for the National League. The lineup is built around Pollock and Goldschmidt and the Diamondbacks success this season may come down to whether or not Pollock can replicate his 2015 season this year.

Update: Pollock injured on April 1st against the Royals. Will need elbow surgery.

Right Field: David Peralta

Peralta played each of the three outfield positions for the Diamondbacks last year as he played in 149 of the team’s games. Like Pollock, Peralta was also a nice surprise for Arizona as he hit .312 with a .372 OBP with 17 home runs and 78 RBI. Peralta’s numbers often go unnoticed, but he is a key clog of the Diamondbacks lineup. He led the MLB in triples last year with 10, following his 2014 campaign in which he tripled nine times in just 88 games.
