Tyler Chatwood vs. Patrick Corbin

Chatwood and Corbin are both victims of Tommy John surgery. Chatwood hasn’t pitched in the pros since April 2014, but demonstrated better efficiency than expected during Spring Training.

Corbin had an outstanding spring as well. He sported a 1.71 ERA in five Cactus League starts. He worked hard on refining his changeup, a pitch he intends to throw more this year. He returned to the D-backs in July.

The Diamondbacks have high hopes entering the new season and will need to jump out to a hot-start against their division rivals. First pitch on Monday will be at 6:40 p.m.
