Option 2: Julius Randle

Julius Randle has had a great season starting for the Los Angeles Lakers. There is very little doubt he will even actually leave the Lakers.

Unless…

If a combination of Lebron James, Kawhi Leonard, and/or Paul George make their way to LA then the Lakers might consider letting Randle walk.

They will already have a ton of money tied up to those players, and in the case of Lebron James arriving, will not want a lot of money tied up towards lesser talents.

The Cavaliers have experienced first hand the issue with tying up money in young players that don’t have the full resume to support it (looking at you, Tristan Thompson).

Not to say that Julius Randle isn’t a talent himself, but he believes he is max contract worthy. Saying that for him in comparison to Lebron James and Paul George, is laughable.

However, he is only 23 years of age and would nicely slide into the Phoenix Suns roster timeline. If he could become a league average 3 point shooter.

He could be a deadly player that fit’s more of a Draymond Green type of role.
