Former Arizona Cardinals’ quarterback Carson Palmer will be honored by NFL Network with his own “A Football Life” documentary.

Over the course of his 15-year NFL career, Carson Palmer played for three different franchises. Although he effective at each stop, his five-year stint with the Arizona Cardinals was the best statistical period of them all. Without it, Palmer would have been a good quarterback historically. With it, however, he’s a borderline Hall-of-Famer.

Now, we won’t know if he’ll wear the gold jacket for a few years. What we do know, though, is that Carson Palmer has secured a different honor bestowed on football’s true legends: his very own A Football Life documentary by NFL Network.

On August 5th, the NFL put out an official press release announcing the series’ subjects for their eighth season. The first episode of the season? Carson Palmer.

The season premiere will air on September 14th at 8:00 P.M ET, marking episode No.101 in their long history.

Complete List of Subjects For Season Eight of “A Football Life”

Palmer is now the seventh former Arizona Cardinals’ player to be immortalized by A Football Life. Previously, Aeneas Williams (DB), Bruce Arians (HC), Emmitt Smith (RB), Larry Fitzgerald (WR), Kurt Warner (QB), and Pat Tillman (DB) have had their careers featured.

In his five seasons with Arizona, the 2002 Heisman Trophy winner had a 91.1 QB Rating — highest of his three stints — as well as 16,782 passing yards and 48 more touchdowns than interceptions (105-to-57). His best season came in 2015 when he made his first Pro Bowl since 2006 and led the NFL in QBR (77.1) and Yards Per Attempt (8.7). More importantly, 2015 saw a 36-year-old Palmer lead the Cardinals to a 13-3 record and the NFC Championship Game.
