On Wednesday, the Arizona Diamondbacks’ schedule was released for the 2019 MLB season.
While their 2018 season is far from over, fans of the Arizona Diamondbacks can already look ahead to next season. I say that because the MLB announced the 2019 schedules for every team on Wednesday afternoon.

Besides all the regular rivalry games — NL West, etc. — the D-Backs have several exciting series to get pumped about, especially from interleague play. Below, we’ll outline the most intriguing series from the 2019 Diamondbacks schedule.
Most Intriguing Series From 2019 Diamondbacks Schedule
Los Angeles Dodgers
When: Thursday, March 28th to Sunday, March 31st
Where: Dodgers Stadium, Los Angeles, CA
This will be Arizona’s Opening Day game and beyond. Hopefully, it will be the D-Backs’ first series as defending World Series champions.
Boston Red Sox
When: Friday, April 5th to Sunday, April 7th
Where: Chase Field, Phoenix, AZ
This series will be the home opener for the 2019 D-Backs. In addition, it will (hopefully) see Clay Buchholz going against the team he once starred for. As for the Red Sox, slugger J.D. Martinez will make his return to Chase Field.
Per the Arizona’s official Twitter account, it will be the first time they host Boston since the 2007 MLB season.
The Diamondbacks are 6-12 in regular season games against the Red Sox.
New York Yankees
When: Tuesday, April 30th to Wednesday, May 1st
Where: Chase Field, Phoenix, AZ
While it’s only a two-game series, any time the Yankees come to town is exciting. Plus, it will be rematch of their legendary 2001 World Series battle.
The Diamondbacks are 6-12 in regular season games against the Yankees.
Baltimore Orioles
When: Monday, July 22nd to Wednesday, July 24th
Where: Chase Field, Phoenix, AZ
Unlike the Red Sox and Yankees, the D-Backs own the Orioles. In their 18-game history, Arizona has beaten Baltimore 12 times. With that said, it’ll be cool to see a different black-and-orange team at Chase Field. After all, they haven’t hosted the O’s since the 2013 season.
Arizona has a 7-2 all-time home record against Baltimore.
New York Yankees
When: Tuesday, July 30th to Wednesday, July 31st
Where: Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY
Arizona will also pay a visit to legendary Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. This will be their final series in their run of AL East opponents and the first time back in the Bronx since 2013.
