N’Keal Harry is Gonna Do BIG Things

This one is obvious but absolutely needs to be talked about…

N’Keal Harry was a man among boys on Saturday evening and if it continues that way, the junior wide receiver could be a legitimate Heisman Trophy finalist. Unfortunately, it’s been almost 30 years since a wide receiver won the award but it’s not out of the question for Harry to be invited as a finalist. The guy is 6-foot-4 and solid as a rock, making it incredibly hard for anyone to bring him down after he hauls in a reception. Once he gets a head of steam it’s nearly impossible. During the broadcast they compared him to Larry Fitzgerald but his post-reception skills are more like Terrell Owens.

More importantly, the offense was calling plays specifically to get the ball in his hands. If the play-calling continues that trend, which is more than likely, his numbers are going to be insane and catch the attention of the national media. Having said that, wins by the team are also a big factor so they’ll need to pile on the W’s.

In total, Harry caught six passes for 140 yards but his two touchdowns vs. UTSA will live on way past 2018.

Manny Wilkins deserves a lot of credit here, too. The senior quarterback looked fantastic all night, had positive body language throughout, and was more accurate than normal.
