Arizona Cardinals: The Good and Bad From Josh Rosen’s First Win
Final Takeaways
Through two starts, there has definitely been more good than bad from rookie starter Josh Rosen. For those watching Arizona play, I think that’s the general consensus.

In the weeks before, the team couldn’t move the ball with Sam Bradford at the helm and it seemed like the team didn’t believe they could win. Now, with Rosen as the main guy, the squad has a whole new life, energy, and swagger about them. Both of the games with the rookie under the helm have been close, exciting, and actually watchable. Prior, that was not the case.
One thing that should be noted, too, is that Rosen has dealt with all the dropped passes like a pro. He always has good body language and never pouts. The surrounding players and defense take note of that and it absolutely inspires confidence.
Sure, his completion percentage is not where you’d want it but that’s only going to improve as he gets more experience and the front office surrounds him with better talent. Believe me, they see what’s happening and they know they need to snag some real weapons to help him out.
Make no mistake about it, the Arizona Cardinals have their quarterback of the future.
The team has a tough matchup at Minnesota next week at 1:00 P.M ET.
