Best TNF Win Since 2010

Arizona 23, Minnesota 20 (2015)

Although Arizona was outclassed by the Minnesota Vikings last week, there was a time when the Cardinals were the better team.

Back in 2015 when Palmer was in the middle of his best NFL season, he led the 10-win Cardinals against an eight-win Vikings team in front of a national television audience. With the score tied 20-20, he engineered a game-winning drive that resulted in a 47-yard Chandler Catanzaro field goal with less than two minutes to play. Minnesota starter Teddy Bridgewater got the Vikings moving down the field immediately after — getting them down to Arizona’s 31-yard line — but Dwight Freeney killed their hopes with a sack-fumble at the 13-second mark.

The win gave Palmer 11 on the season, eclipsing the 10 he won in 2013. Additionally, his 11th win tied a career-best (11 wins with Cincinnati in 2005), though he’d go on to finish 2015 with 13 total victories.

Knowing where the Cardinals are now, some of the highlights from this game hurt. David Johnson rushed for nearly five yards per carry and Palmer had an extremely efficient performance (117.6 quarterback rating). Michael Floyd, Larry Fitzgerald, and John Brown made things easy for him, combining for 14 catches and over 200 receiving yards.
