Phoenix Suns Guards Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic are about to explode

When I was looking at the stats and highlights for both Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic I really wanted the season to start so I can see how these guards play together again.

Bledsoe just finished his best season in the league and Dragic was the offensive leader in basically everything. These two will also be under their head coach for another year, just helping them get better and better. These two guards should be ready for a big year fpr the Phoenix Suns and here is why:

They’re in a western division where defense isn’t that great:

Minus Golden State, every team in the Pacific Division last year gave up 100 points per game. These teams are built for offense and that itself should make for 100 point games and not low scoring games. That should help out Dragic and Bledsoe get the ball more often and put up more points in order to keep up this year if they want a playoff spot.

They have an offensive minded coach:

Most coaches in the NBA are offensive minded but head coach Jeff Hornacek, who played with the suns for 1986-1992, was a shooting coach before he was the head coach. He got Bledsoe to play his best season last year with 17 points per game and 5 assists per game. He will get these guys under his system after another year of coaching and implementing his plan.

They’re in the prime of their career:

This really goes to both of them, both are in the 20’s and have a lot of basketball left to play. This is the point of their career where they got the knowledge of the game down and they don’t have to think that much in games. They also will have known what to do in certain situations and not have to crash at the end of games, nor knowing what to do. They have the physical part down and they should be ready to go the distance this year.

Bledsoe should be healthy this year:

This is very important, if Bledsoe stays heathly longer than 43 games, the Suns will have their difference maker to help change how some games go down.

I really enjoyed going back to last year and looking at both Bledsoe and Dragic. If what I think happens, the Phoenix Suns should steal the a playoff spot this year and maybe make some noise in the playoffs.
