Arizona Wildcats Must Execute To Beat Buffs
By Tony Fischer
The Arizona Wildcats finally return home to Tucson to face the Colorado Buffaloes after a lackluster performance against UCLA. The Wildcats offense was terrible last week against UCLA and they hope to rebound this week against one of the worst defenses in the nation.

But Head Coach Rich Rodriguez knows that it doesn’t matter who is playing defense. If the offense fails to execute the game plan then a loss will be the result. A lesson he hoped his team learned from last weeks loss to UCLA.
"“If we play poorly Saturday then we are going to lose,” Rodriguez added. “I think that is a thing with life in the Pac-12 and that is where we are at right now.”“I saw a lack of execution,” he said. “There were so many things we could have done better and there are always calls we would like to have back as coaches. There were balls that we dropped that our guys haven’t dropped all year and we missed a couple protections that we don’t usually miss.”"
The Arizona Wildcats offense goes into this game a little banged up. The Wildcats can overcome some of those injuries by concentrating on the running game. The Buffaloes have given up 187 yards per game on the ground. This is an area the Arizona Wildcats can exploit to develop a balanced offensive attack and reestablish and set their passing game up for early success.
Although the Arizona Wildcats are out of the running for the Pac-12 and National Championships they can still have success this season by scoring a new years day bowl bid. To do that they will need 8 or 9 wins ana achievable goal considering the remaining four games on the schedule.
