More from Heat Waved

HW: Why did you chose to write for HeatWaved?

"Encinas: I chose to write for Heatwaved because I wanted to be on a big media outlet. I also really liked the balance and the direction of HeatWaved when I decided to apply. I’ve been very satisfied with the editors and staff writers."

HW: What do you like about writing for HeatWaved?

"Encinas: I love being able to share my thoughts to try to give an honest assessment of the Wildcats. That translates into credibility, which often results in more article views and shares on social media. The HeatWaved community and regular readers are great, I love writing for them and new readers that come along as well."

HW: What was you favorite post form the last week?

"Encinas: My favorite post from last week was my “Arizona Wildcats Still Alive For Pac-12 South” article. It’s exciting to see where we are now compared to the expectations Arizona fans had going into the season. The Territorial Cup will decide who finishes with 10 wins this season, with a Pac-12 South Championship/BCS Bowl bid on the line. Every week the media experts picks against Arizona and we just keep winning. But that’s none of our business."
