The top choice for Arizona State, if available still, would definitely be the Alamo Bowl. Ever since 2010 this bowl has been between the 2nd choice Pac-12 team and the 3rd choice Big-12 team. The match-ups the past four years have consisted of: Oklahoma State v. Arizona, Baylor v. Washington, Texas v. Oregon State, and Texas v. Oregon.
Depending on the outcome of the Arizona v. Oregon Pac-12 Championship game, both of those teams could get key bowl games (a playoff bowl and Fiesta Bowl). If this is the case, it would come down to the Alamo Bowl’s committee to decide between either UCLA or Arizona State for their bowl. UCLA has a better shot at receiving the bid as they destroyed Arizona State in Tempe by 35 earlier in the year.
