Arizona State falls to Oregon State 55-47
The Arizona Sun Devils dropped their second straight after losing to the Oregon State Beavers 55-47. Both teams were looking for their first win in conference play after losing to their in-state rivals.

Eric Jacobsen and Shaq Mckissic led the Sun Devils in scoring with 11 points. But the big story was the lack of shooting success and turnovers. Arizona State went 4-for-21 from behind the three point line. They turned the ball over 16 times leading to easy points for the beavers.
The Sun Devils shot 40% from the field and just 56% from the free throw line. They were out rebounded 34-24 with a measly 8 offensive rebounds. The Beavers out shot the Sun Devils with 80% from behind the charity stripe.
Arizona State pulled within three points after going on a 9-2 run with three minutes left in the game. The Beavers went on their own 10-6 run to put the game away.
The Sun Devils fell to 8-7 and a PAC-12 record of 0-2. They are still searching for their first road win as they have yet to be victorious away from Wells Fargo Arena.
Arizona State will travel to Eugene to take on the Oregon Ducks on Saturday. They will then head back home to take on the Utah Utes Jan 15th.
