The No. 7 ranked Arizona Wildcats went into Colorado with a 24-3 record atop the Pac 12. Tonight, they will leave Colorado with another win, dominating the Buffaloes, 84-52.

With this win, the Wildcats move to 13-2 in league play and swept Colorado on the season.

Tonight, four out of the starting five had double figures in points with Stanley Johnson leading the pack at 15. Kaleb Tarczewski also had 14 points along with Gabe York coming off the bench. York has been quite the offensive spark coming off the bench earning a sixth man role.

T.J. McConnell had only six points but helped tremendously with six assists and great passing. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson put up 11 points with eighth boards helping the Wildcats to their 25th win on the season.

Brandon Ashley also had 11 points and 6 rebounds. Colorado started off the season very well with big wins over Auburn and Drexel.

After tonight’s loss for Colorado, they are now 12-15 with a 5-10 record in the Pac 12. Although their NCAA tournament dreams are crushed, if they win out from now on, they have a chance to go to the NIT in New York City at Madison Square Garden.

Arizona beat Colorado earlier this season 68-54 in Tucson, making this a season sweep. Johnson has been great all season putting up beneficial points, like always.

After this win, Arizona will stay in the Rocky Mountains to play the No. 13 ranked Utah Utes. They have already beat the Utes this season at home 69-51.

The Wildcats will wrap up the season at home next week when they play Cal and Stanford before the Pac 12 tournament in Las Vegas. If they beat Utah on Saturday, the Wildcats will be crowned Pac-12 regular season champions.
