Arizona Cardinals Offer Darnell Dockett New Deal

Just three days ago, Cardinal fans were saddened by the news of the team releasing defensive end Darnell Dockett. However, as predicted, the Cardinals have already offered Dockett a new deal according to Kent Somers, who covers the Cardinals and NFL for AZCentral.
#azcardinals offer to Dockett believed to be 1-year, $2.5 mil deal. Could get to $4 mil through play-time,production incentives.

In addition, Somers also stated that Dockett has been drawing a lot of interest from other teams. Dockett’s agent Drew Rosenhaus declined to reveal the teams interested, but said “we should have his situation resolved by the end of the week,” per AZCentral.com.
The Cardinals would love nothing more than to have Dockett back as he is such a help to the defense. However, the Cardinals are looking to have him back for cheaper than the $6.55 million in salary he was scheduled to make.

The Cardinals salary issues have been the highlight of this offseason, and will have to make some huge adjustments to remain a contender within the NFC West.
Dockett’s teammates have yet to tweet or post anything regarding a goodbye which usually happens when a player is cut from a team. This can be a good sign that Dockett will stay with the team.
As for Dockett himself, he hasn’t directly said anything leaning towards any team.
Whatever team Im on, we will WIN!!!!....... That's all I know. That's all I think about.

"I love you all" ✌️
The Cardinals were able to adjust Fitzgerald’s contract to the point to where it saved the team money, can they do the same with Dockett?
