KRIS BRYANT – 3B
Yes its the obvious choice, but its also the right one. Forget all the politics and Spring Training hype, Bryant is mashing the baseball right now. He has a ten game hitting streak and in that span he’s hitting .394 with four home runs and 11 RBI’s. In those ten games, Bryant has hit four of this five home runs on the season. His power is coming around and his on-base percentage is siting above .400 which presents a huge threat with his speed on the bases.
More importantly, he’s leading a young Cubs team to the winning column. He smashed a first inning home run in the teams’ 3-0 win over the Padres on Thursday to back Kyle Kendricks compete game shutout. The Cubbies sit at 23-17 and are 8-2 in their last ten during Bryant’s ten-game hitting streak.
