A serious contender for Rookie of the Year, Pederson has made a name for himself as the powerful lefty in the Dodgers’ lineup.

The centerfielder’s 19 home runs so far this season leads a Los Angeles team that includes slugger Adrian Gonzalez, who currently has 13 homers.

Pederson also leads Los Angeles in runs (43), OBP (.383) and OPS (.905). He is also the most patient hitter at the plate with his team-leading 54 walks this season.

In addition to his terrific work at the plate, Pederson is a tremendous outfielder. He pretty much gobbles up anything hit his way. He’s a double-threat and a tough out for the D-backs’ staff.

Look for him to continue his quest for ROY as the first-half of the season winds down.
