Gonzalez is pretty much always in the spot light no matter where he goes or who he faces. He’s just an all-around good hitter. He is powerful and hits for average.

In fact, his .302 batting average is the best on the team. He is currently the only Dodger hitting at or above .300.

Gonzalez is also the batter the Dodgers want at the plate during clutch situations. His 48 RBIs is the most on the Dodgers, with the second highest total belonging to, you guessed it, Joc Pederson with 37.

So, Gonzalez and Pederson, the veteran and the rookie, two sluggers who will look to do some damage during the series as they help Los Angeles maintain first-place in the West.
