With the Phoenix Suns front office likely giving fellow point guard Brandon Knight a 5-year/$70 million deal, word has come out that the Suns will most likely attempt to trade Eric Bledsoe for a talented big man.

Bledsoe, who signed a 5-year/$70 million deal with the Suns last offseason, is due to make $13.5 million in the upcoming season before receiving $500,000 increments in the following three years with the end result of  $15 million during the 2018-2019 season.

The 18th overall pick out of Kentucky in the 2010 draft will be entering his age 25 season in the Fall, so is value is extremely high after having his best season last year.

Bledsoe played in 81 games in 2014 and averaged 17.0 points, 6.1 assists, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.6 steals while shooting 44.7 percent from the field and 80.0 percent from the free throw line. After the Goran Dragic trade, Bledsoe was called on to be the primary leader of the club and he thrived in the spotlight.

There are teams that could make a push to be contenders next year if they were able to add a stud point guard in Bledsoe, such as the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Indiana Pacers.

There have been rumblings that the Suns may look to move Bledsoe in order to make cap space to potentially bring in Kevin Love as a free agent.

Let’s take a look at potential trades that could land Bledsoe in one of these potential spots…
