Demario Richard A.K.A. “Baby Beast Mode”, nicknamed after Seahawks’ Marshawn Lynch, is an absolute animal in the backfield. The sophomore is 5’10”, 213 pounds entering the 2015 season and looks to build off of a very successful 2014.

Last year, as a backup, Richard rushed for 478 yards and four touchdowns, while also adding 156 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns.

Oh, Richard’s birthday is in early-December, so he will play almost his entire sophomore season as an 18-year-old. Yeah, that does make me feel bad about myself. Thanks for asking.

Richard and fellow sophomore Kalen Ballage figure to head the backfield for the Sun Devils this season with De’Chavon “Gump” Hayes, Jacom Brimhall, and Jason Lewis also set to see the field.
