The offense seemed to quiet down in game two of this series. Both Robbie Ray and Jason Hammel were pretty solid in their first starts of the season.

Ray delivered the first quality start for a Diamondbacks starting pitcher so far this season as he went six innings and only gave up two runs on four hits. Ray did struggle with his command a bit as he walked four in the game, even walking the bases loaded and a run in during an inning. But Ray settled down after that fact. On the other side, Hammel was very good. He only gave up one run through his six innings pitched.

The Diamondbacks were able to sneak away with a win after a walk-off base hit from Yasmany Tomas in the bottom of the ninth off of former Diamondbacks pitcher Trevor Cahill, which gave Arizona its second win of the season, 3-2.
