The rookie, Zack Godley, made his MLB debut for the D-backs on July 23 after a couple of seasons in the minor leagues.
The 25-year-old was drafted in 2013 by the Chicago Cubs in the 10th round as the 288th overall pick.
He had one heckuva debut against the Brewers. During his outing, he pitched six scoreless innings, giving up just four hits and striking out seven. He also picked up his first major league win as well.
Iwakuma has appeared in just seven games for the Mariners after suffering a lat injury on April 21.
Since his return though, he has picked up two wins in four starts. In his last game, he left with a no-decision after seven innings of work. He gave up two runs on seven hits and struck out seven against the Detroit Tigers.
